Cilantro Ginger Baked Tilapia
Tilapia is high in B12 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids. It is also low in calories, carbohydrates, and sodium making it a healthy addition to any meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. Tilapia Fillets
- Ground Pepper to taste
- 3 Cloves of Garlic, peeled and mashed
- 1 tbsp. grated fresh Ginger
- 1 Jalapeno, seeded and chopped
- 1/3 cup chopped Cilantro Leaves
- 1 Lemon, juiced
- 2 tbsp. low sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp. Sesame Oil
Directions:
- Heat oven to 450 degrees F
- Season fillets with ground pepper, and lay flat in a 9X9 glass baking dish
- In a blender, combine garlic, ginger, jalapeno, cilantro, lemon juice, soy sauce, and sesame oil
- Pour over fillets
- Bake fillets for about 30 minutes or until flaky
- Garnish with lemon slices and fresh cilantro leaves
