Gina- Behind the Curtain Continued
I'm back, Here's a little bit about where I left off. As I was saying, I worked as a CNA for many years. I then had my first child Isidro; he is my pride and joy! I love being a mother. Soon after, I had Marco, who is also my pride and joy. Then 2 years later I had my third son, little Noah bean. It was a great joy to care for such good little boys. I was so proud to be their mother.
I decided to move to Salt Lake City, UT to be closer to family. I pursued getting my CDL so I could work for the USPS. I obtained my license and drove for them for about 1 year. I worked graveyard, driving the mail back and forth from the main post office to the airport all night. It was physically demanding because some loads I had to empty by myself and fill my own trailer.
Unfortunately, life happened and I went through a divorce. I decided to come back to Idaho because that 's where I had the most support. It was extremely hard going through something like that, but I had to do it. It was meant to be.
I soon reunited with Ace, a friend that I had known for about 14 years prior. He has shown me and my kids love and compassion. He has taken on the role as a stepparent. He and my boys get along so well. It makes me understand the love a father should give his sons. We have been together for 5 years now. I am so grateful for everything I have had to go through to get to where I am today. Ace, Isidro, Marco and Noah are my happiness. They are the unconditional love that I hold dearly, forever and ever. They are the light of my life.
I started looking for employment when I moved back to Idaho. I was hired as a medical assistant at a local clinic. There, I learned a lot of what I know about the medical field. I had a lot of on the job training. I learned just about everything except billing in the office. I drew labs at the clinic and they paid for me to get my phlebotomy license.
I am very grateful. I loved that job. I worked there for 2 years. Due to some personal things that happened, unfortunately, I decided to leave. I believe that everything happens for a reason.
Now here I am, by the grace of God, working with the best at the West Clinic.
To be continued...... PS next blog is to talk about the most wonderful thing about me 😄
