Positive Thoughts= Positive Reality
Positive thoughts became my positive reality!
Hi Everyone, Susy here!
I thought I’d dive into the way my mind works and some of the things that lead me to think the way I do... scary, I know.
Our mental health is such an important part of our overall health.
When I was 23 after having my youngest daughter, I was 200 lbs. at 5’ 3 tall. I was worried I would never lose the weight, but out of all the heartache and pain in my life, sadly this is one of the least of my traumas. I still felt helpless and overwhelmed. I noticed a change in myself that was depressing me, and I knew I had to make a change.
I decided to turn my life around. I studied to become a personal trainer and this changed my life, as well as the way I looked at the world. Although this came with a whole new set of insecurities, I set out to be better, to feel better, think better and know better.
I made a decision to take control of who I was and realized that if my subconscious mind was influencing my attitude and actions negatively in the past that it could influence me positively too, so I became more conscious of my subconscious mind, and let me tell ya, being aware of negative self-talk is quit an exercise of the mind. I never knew how negative I was until I did this. I always was one of those people that would think and worry too much to the point I would avoid my problems to ease the load.
My point is that the different experiences that we encounter throughout our life mold us to who we are and how we view life. I’ve always said that they either make us or break us. I am proud to say that I have taken most every bad thing in my life and grew from it, molding myself into a stronger better version of myself.
I strongly believe that our experiences are a manifestation of our thoughts and feelings. We possess all the tools within us to power through anything and that those tools must be discovered Sometimes it’s those struggles we go through that help us find these tools.
Never give up, be the best version of you that you can be and know that every negative thing that happens in our lives really does have some sort of silver lining even if you can’t see it yet, it’s there.
Your subconscious mind is subjective. It does not think or reason independently; it merely obeys the commands it receives from your conscious mind. Just as your conscious mind can be thought of as the gardener, planting seeds, your subconscious mind can be thought of as the garden, or fertile soil, in which the seeds germinate and grow.
Till next time,
-Susy😊
