Stomach Problems
Hey everyone, Gina here😊
I want to blog about something that really hits home for me…. Stomach problems!!!
Stomach problems are miserable!! One thing I’ve learned is that most people that come into the office have an issue with their gut. It's amazing how many people struggle with many different problems and most of them stem from the stomach.
I’ve struggled with my stomach for years. I’ve had problems with constipation, diarrhea, and bloating. Until I started working here at the clinic, I never realized how many supplements can help with these issues. It's amazing how treating your stomach can help with fatigue, headaches, and overall relief.
If you feel like stress is making your digestive troubles worse, you’re probably right. Research has found a definitive connection between stress and gastrointestinal issues.
There’s more and more evidence showing that your gut bacteria and the health of your gut lining affect your mind, mood, and body in ways from minor (energy and skin) to major (chronic inflammation and disease). Learning about your digestive system — and how to care for it — is the first step to maintaining a healthy gut.
At the West Clinic, our providers treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), Celiac disease and Diverticulitis, just to name a few. We treat conditions like these using a combination of IV therapy, Neural therapy, Acupuncture, Diathermy, Sine Surge, Lumi Lights, PEMF therapy and Supplements.
Here are a few things that helped me with my stomach issues...
- Eat Real Food
- Get Plenty of Fiber
- Add Healthy Fats to Your Diet
- Stay Hydrated
- Manage Your Stress
- Eat Mindfully
- Chew Your Food Well
- Get Moving
I enjoy where I work and I’m so grateful that I have the option to use so many great therapies. Also, working with all the special people at the clinic has helped me improve my health and I’ve learned so many things. It’s one blessing in my life that I’m truly thankful for.
