Are you Losing your hair due to a covid sideaffect? About 90 days after infection, some patients are reporting their hair is falling out. It's called Telogen effluvium, a form of temporary hair loss that usually happens after stress, a shock, or a traumatic event. It usually occurs on the top of the scalp. Telogen effluvium is different from the hair loss disorder called alopecia areata.
